There are a lot of good English Language Schools warm climate and the prices are good. My brother who was in Malta last summer recommended me to come here. I've got to know many cultures which are very different because of tourists from all over the world. Not only you can brush up your knowledge of English but also meet many interesting people from all over the world. Get to know about the Maltese people and celebrations before you arrive in Malta. Stay here for longer time, 3 weeks at least and it's better to come in summer as you will have an opportunity to go to a lovely beach and enjoy swimming in the sea.
The weather is usually nice. It is less expensive than other countries to study English. The atmosphere is more relaxed. Encountering so many different People and learning about their culture was fantastic. The people are truly welcome! I heard about Malta from some friends who told me it was a good place to study. The first thing that struck me was the friendliness of the people. The atmosphere in Malta is very good to study and another advantage is that nobody speaks my language so I'm forced to speak English. My advice is to concentrate on studying and not be distracted by the nightlife. Time flies here so make the most of it! The accommodation is very clean and luxurious but the flat could be a bit warmer! I chose Malta because I am interested in history and I thought I would have plenty of time to see historical places. It has a great European atmosphere. It is very different from what I expected My first impression of Malta was just blue sky and sea!! I thought Malta was different, but I like it!! I can meet a lot of friends from different countries and have a good time with them. My English is also improving because I have a good teacher. I chose Malta because it appeared as a wonderful and charming island when I first saw it on pictures. I also chose it because it was absolutely unknown for me. It's far from home and rather exotic for a Swede. |
Descending from the airplane a warm wind blew through my face and the air smelled wonderful. It's sunny hot and it's small compared to my country. I think that by studying here I will improve my English because there are students from many different nationalities and we must speak English. The school is very well organized and the lessons have never been boring so far. The nightlife is also very varied. From live music bars to discos, cinemas and student parties. It couldn't have been better. Excellent teachers, very good school, nice people everywhere. Excellent learning climate. My experience in Malta is, till now, the best of my life. I have improved my English very fast. I have learnt a lot of things about different cultures. If you want to learn and improve your English with good teachers and at the same time have fun and discover people from all over the world you should choose Malta. Moreover you will have the opportunity to learn with a great weather. Malta is good for learning English in winter because it is not overcrowded and not too cold. Try to make friends from many different countries. Ask for an apartment which is not far from the school because you will not want to use the public transport system in the morning.
Enjoy every second. Be open-minded. Try to see as much as possible of the island and speak as much English as you possibly can! Bring a dictionary! Visit historic sites and get accommodation by the sea. It's a very good place, good ambiance and a few people of your own country. You should take an adapter of electricity with you. I wanted a European country with good reputation for teaching English and which is cheap. It seemed to me to look a little bit like Cuba. |
